Patna, Nov 20 (ANI): Nitish Kumar took oath as Bihar Chief Minister for the fifth time on Friday. Both sons of RJD Lalu Prasad Tej Pratap and Tejaswi also took oath as ministers in the Nitish Cabinet. According to reports, Tejaswi is likely to be appointed as Bihar Deputy Chief Minister,Abdul Bari Siddiqui takes oath as Minister in Bihar cabinet, Bijendra Prasad Yadav takes oath as Minister in Bihar cabinet and Jai Kumar Singh takes oath as Minister in Bihar cabinet. The cabinet is likely to accommodate 12 ministers each from the RJD and the Janata Dal (United) and four from the Congress. Based on the constitutional stipulation that the cabinet cannot accommodate members beyond 15% of the 243-seat Bihar assembly, no more than 36 can be accommodated. In the recent Bihar assembly polls, the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan) won with 178 seats, defeating the BJP-led NDA, who managed just 58 seats. Former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir Farooq Abdullah, former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir and working president of National Conference Omar Abdullah, President Jitan Ram Manjhi, Janata Dal (United) leader Sharad Yadav, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh were also present at the event. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also attended the event. Delegations of leaders poured in here and assembled at the venue as Nitish took his oath as the Chief Minister of Congratulating Nitish Kumar, National Conference (NC) president and former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Dr. Farooq Abdullah today said the senior Janata Dal (United) leader must now start preparing himself to become the next Prime Minister of India.
