The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office will pay tribute to one of
their own tomorrow. A tribute service honoring Deputy Willie Hall will take place at 11:45a.m. at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Training Academy located at 3500 Happy Hollow Road, Fultondale, AL 35068. The service will include remarks from Sheriff Mark Pettway, Attorney General Steve Marshall, and Jefferson County Commissioners. Sheriff Mark Pettway says Deputy Hall left a lasting legacy on his office. “Deputy Hall dedicated his life to law enforcement and we are so blessed to have had him as a part of our team,” Sheriff Pettway said. “The impact that he made to this office and to
the communities within Jefferson County are endless and I’m beyond honored to have worked with a man who was dedicated to keeping our citizens safe.” Hall, who spent over 20 years in law enforcement lost at battle
with Covid-19 shortly after contracting the virus. A 48-year husband and father, Deputy Hall begin his career in the U.S. Army before joining the Birmingham Police Department, and then JCSO.
