Surah 108: Al-Kawthar (Abundant Goodness) - سورة الكوثر
This Meccan chapter was revealed to reassure prophet Muhammad (PBUH) at a time when his young son had passed away. During that time, having a son to carry one's legacy was important in Meccan culture. This chapter came to remind the prophet of all the abundant goodness he's been given and that his legacy live on through all the Muslims who follow his sunnah (way of life).
