The British singer Ed Sheeran has won a high court battle over a plagiarism accusation for his hit single Shape of You.

Sheeran posted on Instagram to explain the toll the lawsuit has taken on him as a father and a husband and saying that similar lawsuits becoming increasingly common is creating a precarious environment for songwriters.
