Hello,
So iNaturalist is a really cool tool that can be implemented into science classrooms. It gives students the opportunity to actually contribute to science as they collect field observations and upload their photos to iNaturalist where users, including scientists, can identify the species in the photos. These findings are shared in science data repositories.
Try to make some assignments where students find and research animals and plants in their local community. They can research what kind of effects/impacts people have on their community wildlife, what can be done to protect them, etc.
This video helps show how you can make your own iNaturalist project for your students to join.
