Have a lost car title? If the title was in your name at one point in time, you can simply apply for a duplicate title at your local DMV.
If the title was not in your name, or if you lost it or never received it, you might be able to get what's called a "bonded title." If you want to get a bonded title, call your local DMV and ask them if you are eligible. Your local DMV is the only entity that can say for certain if you are eligible.
More about bonded titles:
A bonded title is a regular title, except in the title brand section it is marked "bonded". The "bonded" brand implies the title has a surety bond attached to the title. The surety bond is called a "Lost Title Bond" and you can purchase one from a surety bond company (like us), then take the bond to the DMV and the DMV will issue you a bonded title.
