Franka Kon and her family were deported to Auschwitz death camp. After selections by Josef Mengele, Franka, her mother, and her sister were sent to the gas chambers. Franka explains how she waited on a bench with a bar of soap for her "shower" but, instead, the Germans told them to run to the barracks.
