Thanks to Adorama and Nikon, I was able to go hands-on with the Z7; the new Z 35/1.8 and Z 24-70/4; and with the FTZ adapter, their AF-S 105mm/1.4. The glass was brilliant, the camera surprisingly good -- until it wasn't. But that's part of the development process, and IF Nikon makes good on its promises in a relevant timeframe, Nikon shooters will buy these cameras by the boatload.
