You've probably seen those iconic pictures of Uranus and Neptune from Voyager 2 in the '80s, with Uranus in pale greenish blue and Neptune in royal blue.
But hold on, a recent study from the University of Oxford gives us a new perspective.
Forget the greenish and royal blues – turns out, that both Uranus and Neptune are more like a pale baby blue.
Scientists reprocessed the images using newer data from telescopes like Hubble and the Very Large Telescope, making the planets look surprisingly similar.
This discovery also explains why Uranus seems to change color during its orbit.
Because it's basically doing a cosmic somersault, tilted on its side, the brightness at its poles affects how we see its color.
It's like the planets are showing off their true hues!
