I realized it's been quite a bit since I posted a transcription video, so here we are. Milt Jackson's solo on Bags Groove was the first vibes solo I ever transcribed, all the way back in September of 2019. I thought it'd be fun to revisit it, see how things have progressed, and have fun with it. While it isn't at tempo (75% I believe), it was super beneficial - lots of his lines are vocabulary that I've come to know, such as enclosures, altered scale, etc, all things I didn't really know back in September 2019!

Also, one last thing - maybe not the best choice in mallets on my end considering Milt is using hard ones. Sorry about that!

I've been working on a few vibes-specific transcriptions this month (one is Gary Burton!), so stay tuned videos of those!
