In this RV Restoration series I'll be updating a 1988 Toyota motorhome to make it off grid capable, water tight and generally updated. this series should be helpful for anyone who buys an older RV and wants to unlock the full capabilities of these vintage rigs.
in this first episode I take out my old batteries and talk about why the capacity of them is lower than it should be because of how I treated them, I install two 200ah Redodo lifepo4 batteries to replace them and I share some of the details that make these affordable batteries a good option. In the next episode I'll be taking on resealing the roof to make the rig water tight, as there has been a leak that caused the ceiling to be damaged and in need of replacement.
