Cops beaten up by gamblers when they raided a gambling den in varthur police station limits. The goons chased the cops and attacked them. The constables Basappa & Sharanappa were thrashed by the goons and they were verbally abused too.
The varthur cops have arrested 4 people in this regard and incident happened at Siddapura. The accused have been identified as Kumar, Sandeep, Murthy & Murali. The other accused are still at large.
Reacting on the Home minister said action will be taken against the culprits.
