This aircraft has brought US soldiers and some of military vehicles which will be used during military exercise „Saber Strike 2012".
This is probalby one of the most visually impressive event, but the military equipment has been arriving to Latvia for some time already.
It was offloaded in Ventspils port and Garkalne rail station after being transported by rail.
Hosting international personnell and organizing the arrival of military equipment is a complex task, and the arrival of C-5 „Galaxy" is just one of the peak points of the exercise.
