110-Year-Old Flossie Dickey Does Not Give A FUCK About Her Birthday
Flossie Dickey is 110 years old. She has three children, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. She was a settler at the turn of the last century, ate with outlaws and lived through the Great Depression. So pardon her if she doesn't give a damn about being on TV.
Nichole Mischke of Fox Spokane's Good Day Spokane dropped by Cheney Care Center in Spokane County, Washington, where Flossie has been since 2011, to wish her a happy birthday on Thursday, and maybe get some secrets to living a long life.
But Mischke's relentlessly sunny disposition did little to move a distinctly unimpressed Flossie, who said she was 'not one bit' excited for her birthday party, and deftly swatted away the reporter's cheery questions with the determination of a woman who has seen more of life than most people on Earth, and isn't going to stop playing by her own rules now.
