“President Trump doubled down on his support for torture Thursday — while speculating on whether ABC’s David Muir would support the practice if his child were kidnapped.

In his second televised sit-down after taking over the White House, Trump continued to embrace his belief that torturing terror suspects is a good thing — despite being a crime under international and domestic law.

A day after being interviewed by ABC’s David Muir, Trump sat down with Fox News’ Sean Hannity to riff on their shared love of illegal interrogation techniques.

Muir became the focus of a bizarre exchange as the two tried to justify their support.”
