ACDP President, Rev Kenneth Meshoe MP asked the Deputy President:

(1) In what way does his mandate as leader of the Republic’s peace missions and the President’s special envoy in South Sudan differ from that of a South African Ambassador in countries in conflict, such as South Sudan; (2) how does his role complement the work of the African Union and the United Nations to help bring about peace in times of conflict?
