God loves to give us examples of His grace and mercy that are easy to comprehend and apply to our own lives. When we come across a verse or concept in the Bible that is difficult to understand, it helps to remember that Jesus was in the same situation when He taught the people. He was able to simplify complex concepts by using stories that the people could relate to.
