Salvia argentea or silver sage is my most favorite silver plant in the garden. Large soft leaves the first year are followed by stalks of white flowers the second year that are pollinator magnets.
Locate this silver beauty in full sun and don’t worry too much about watering it. The silver leaves and furry texture are giveaways that it’s a great plant for the water wise gardener.
