Today we journey back to the Mad River in Southwest Ohio. Searching Google Maps for public access points yielded a new park that we could access the river from, Mad River Gorge.
I do my best to explain what I look for when targeting fish in a new stretch of river. We look at water clarity, current, and structure.
All the fish caught today were brought in on a ZMan Slim SwimZ 2.5" swim bait on either 1/8 or 1/16 oz jig heads. These are a great little minnow imitator with fantastic durability! They will help you catch more fish.
We brought in a nice rock bass, a couple little smallmouth, and some absolutely huge creek chubs in today's video.
