A long time ago, there was a golden-haired lion in the forest, named Chakalabhi (also known as the lion of firm vows). At that time, a hunter ran into the deep mountains and saw the golden lion. He thought, "If I can kill this lion, take off its leash and go back to pay tribute to the king, I will surely get a lot of bounty and get rid of poverty, how great would it be? Good!" So he shaved off his hair and put on a monk's cloth, which contained a bow and arrow, and as soon as he found the golden lion, he waited for an opportunity to shoot it with a poisonous arrow...

The GREAT COMPASSION BODHI PRAJNA TEMPLE, located in a peaceful hidden forest just north of Toronto, Ontario, has been strongly devoted to providing both adult Buddhism education and youth mediation education in the western society for the past ten years.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic during the past three years, the temple has temporarily been closed to the public.
Although we are facing difficulties from the reduced support of resources and donations, despite the many obstacles, we still keep our faith in our original endeavor to “Promote and Spread Out Buddhism in the West.”
Master Miao Jing realized that the Dharma Education could not be interrupted, she immediately initiated a series of Dharma Education Films through YouTube channel at the beginning of the pandemic. However, this project requires many efforts and resources to succeed, including the purchasing of expensive production equipment, and the countless effort put forth by volunteers on video production.
