In this episode, I'll be making a Malaysian version of Honey Roasted Chicken or also known as Ayam Bakar Madu. It's delicious, spicy, sweet, slightly tangy and definitely is gonna be mouth-watering 🤤. This time, I am using #Philips essential air fryer XL and set it to 150°C and 30 minutes for the time to not let the chicken burned.

INGREDIENTS
1nos – Chicken (butterflied)
4nos – Garlic
3nos – Shallots
2tbsp – Chili Powder
1nos – Ginger
2tbsp – Soy Sauce
1tbsp – Oyster Sauce
2tbsp – Honey
1⁄4 cup – Water
2tsp – Salt
1⁄2 nos – Lemon
1/3 cup – water

Garnish
1 bunch – Ulam Raja
6nos – Sweet Chili Peppers

METHOD
1. Blend all the ingredients together and combine 2/3 of the marination with the chicken.
2. Marinate for atleast 3-4 hrs or overnight.
3. Set the chicken in the air fryer basket breast facing up.
4. Set the air fryer to 30mins at 150 deg c.
5. Add the lemon juice to the remaining marinate.
6. Baste every 5minutes with the remaining marinate after the 20 minutes mark.
7. Once the chicken is cooked, remove and allow to rest for 10mins before cutting up and serving.
8. While resting grill the chilies on a pan with some oil and season with salt.
