Series Two: Episode Three


Hello and welcome back to another instalment of ‘This is Your Life’. This time, something a little different. I have recently found an appreciation for BR diesels and when I was deciding which one I should do an episode one, this one fit the bill perfectly.

In this episode we look into the life and career of a diesel that was built originally as a replacement for steam, is an East Anglian at heart and has, more than once, played rescue engine. The locomotive in question is BR Class 31, D5631.


Hopefully you enjoyed this one viewers, I had a great fun putting it all together. Next time, we shall return to the North Norfolk Railway for one of their unique steam engines. I shan’t say any more or I shall spoil the next episode.
