In this video I am going over a quick demonstration of how I recreated the GangStarr “Code of The Streets” beat. This is not a very complicated track as it’s just loops layered over one another, however it’s a great way to get to know how the Lofi-12 works when it comes to sequencing, leveling the tracks and using the onboard effects. Also since there was the scratching of the sine wave/Morse code sound, it give you a chance to see how the Lofi 12 also works as a bit of a synthesizer as well.
