Went into this not sure what to expect... I love 120, but I usually HATE point and shoots... so what am I going to make of this??
Firstly - buy t-shirts, it helps the channel: [ Ссылка ]
Ok, so I won't ruin it for you, but overall thoughts are - LCA120 = good, but THIS particular LCA120 = bad. But do I want an LCA120 for my very own = YES.
Basically the lovely peeps at Lomography allowed me to borrow this camera for the purposes of giving it a go, making a video and then sending it back to them.
Now, I am pretty sure that this particular camera had had a fair bit of use before it even reached me, because there were a few odd things it was doing before I got a chance to do my own damage to it. Little things like the non-return ratchet on the wind-on seemed not to be working, so it had a tendency to spring back on itself after winding. Which on a 120 camera is a pain in the bum.
But then of course there was also the damage which I very clearly did to it myself. Still no clue what I did, but one minute it was working fine, then I put a roll through, and when I got to the end of the roll there was a spring sticking out and there was no chance of getting any more rolls into that camera!
But let's not dwell on the mistakes that I may have made... let's focus on the camera. Is it any good?
Well, the short answer is yes. It's awesome. I want one.
The longer answer is available in the video above, but if you're hell bent on reading words instead of watching pictures, then here it is - the lens is amazing. Super sharp with oodles of character. The auto exposure is pretty sh1t hot, the camera overall is super easy to use and creates great images.
But, it's pretty plasticky, and costs $450. And that stings a bit.
But enough about me... what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!
