Out bushcrafting and camping in the snow. Had this idea to cook up a Swedish Christmas feast in the wild. I must say Im surprised the outcome was just as good as in my kitchen, if you look at the minimal ingredients I brought with me. Of course everything tastes better in the woods they say, personally I don't think so, when you are out each and every week it gets mundane, it usually tastes great because out in the wild I struggle more and get really hungry. For the first time in years I packed my biggest bag without holding back.. and it resulted in 32 KG on my back. Didn't walk many km but Im not doing that again soon. Turns the experience walking into a nightmare. (yes I know about the sleds so you don't have to remind me, I just don't like them, because the terrain where Im at is horrible).
