The Spider Gang enjoyed a great season opening celebration in C-Ville, but the Cavaliers spoiled the party by wearing down the Spiders in the second half. A second half FG brought the Spiders to 14-13, but UVA scored 20 unanswered points to win going away. The Spider play next on September 18 when they open the beautiful and brand new Robins Stadium versus Elon.
