Mather Campground is the reservable campground in Grand Canyon National Park.
Watch For Elk on the Road and view them in the Campground.
Campground has no views of the Canyon, for that there are hotels on the Rim.
Campground has Flush toilets, Dishwashing sinks behind restrooms, and a shower/laundromat facility near campground entrance with ample parking. Free Shuttle Stop at campground entrance.
Reserve 6 months in advance for the busy season, it is rare to find a cancellation in summer. Reservations go quickly, reserve as early as possible as in within one week of 6 months before your trip... The only other campground inside the Park is Desert View near the east entrance. It is much smaller, less services and is first come first serve, no reservations so getting a site there can be equally difficult. One other option inside the Park for RV users is Trailer Village, a concessionaire operated full service RV camp not far from Mather.
