CATS is an Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) funded project which aims to embed strategies within the higher education sector to assist universities in meeting the requirements of the Disability Standards for Education, and the Universities Australia (formally AVCC) Guidelines related to Students with a Disability. This text-animated video is a catchy way of capturing the thoughts of university staff and other higher education sector stakeholders about some of the issues that might be faced by a student with disability who wants to participate fully in university life. The 'Journey of Joe at University' video can be used as an effective professional development tool and a useful way of engaging people in conversations about inclusive practice.
