I'd been trying all winter to get underwater footage of anything and finally was able to make it happen. Lots of observations can be made from the underwater footage that hopefully will help for triggering splake to bite through the ice. Looking at it myself, I wish I would have raised my lure up and had the splake chase it half the time. Cannot complain in the least though. Stay tuned for open water splake fishing videos in the next few weeks!
