Indian staple food Dal chawal/ Dal /tuvar dal.easy to make simple and tasty tadka dal.
Ingredients-
Tuvar dal- 1 small cup
½ tomato
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Coriender
Red chillis
¼ tsp musturd,cumin seeds
5 to 6 garlic cloves
Pinch of asafetida
Curry leaves
Salt
Oil
Method-
Soak dal for 20 mins, pressure cook dal for 15 mins by adding,salt,turmeric and few drops of oil.add tomato and coriander and boil for 5 mins.
For tempering, heat 2 sp oil, add all tempering ingredients . put in dal and cover with plate.
