Gaddar Is Social activist. A voice that questions injustice. Gaddar had a clear understanding of society from childhood. In the area where he was born and brought up, he experienced the discrimination shown by the Pettandari system. Gaddar was born in 1949 to Lacchamma and Seshaiah in Tupran village of Medak district. Gaddar's real name is Gummadi Vitthal Rao. Gaddar's father was a handyman. Gaddar also used to sing mother's songs. When he joined the school... when asked his name... he said Vithal Rao. When he said that his father was a mason.. Why is Rao not a mason's son.... he changed it to Vithal. Gaddar was interested in social issues since childhood. The quality of responding to developments in the society... Gaddarism. Studied up to class 7 in Gaddar Thupran. Stayed in a hostel near the village and completed SSLC. As a child, he used to go to the farm with his mother. He wrote a song saying "Adugesi in the mud.. Eddole Enakenakaka Adugesi.. Nee Nadumanta Irigena Lachumammo.. Lachumammo". Gaddar's mother used to sing folk songs to lull him to sleep. He was discriminated against in the village as a child. Tupran town is steep. Brahmins in the upper part.. As they came down, there were rows of houses belonging to nobles, Komatols, etc. Gaddar's house was in the last row. The fields were also in the same row. Gaddar reaches their fields only after everyone else's fields get water. All those who did not get water for their fields used to go to work in the fields of nobles. Thus Gaddar became aware of social conditions from childhood
