Join me for a solo wild camp in the Derbyshire Peak District. Overnight temperatures drop to around -3C so I needed to test a new Vango Trek 3 Compact self inflating sleeping mat to boost the insulation of my sleep system without breaking the bank.
I was thinking of using the Dutch Army hooped bivi, but ended up opting for the Vango Banshee 200 Pro to give a bit more shelter given the forecast overnight temperatures.
Overall, a succesful and enjoyable little wild camp.
