Researchers at the University of Guelph looked at data from 19 million cats taken at veterinary offices. The study, which aims to develop a healthy weight benchmark for the animal, found male cats reach higher weight peaks than females, along with those spayed or neutered. According to a veterinarian, weight gain among felines appears to be linked to its domestication because they're more sedentary than ever before.
