President Benigno S. Aquino III welcomed Spain's former Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar in Malacañang Palace.
Anzar, who is the current President of Fundacion para el Análisis y los Estudios Sociales (FAES), had previously sent a letter to President Aquino to express his condolences to the families devastated by Super Typhoon Yolanda.
Also present during the call were Foreign affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario, Office of European Affairs Assistant Secretary Maria Zenaida Angara Collinson and Spanish Ambassador to the Philippines Jorge Domecq.
