Kaikoura (''food of the sea'' in Maori) is located on the east coast on New Zealand South Island and is a wonderful place to discover local marine life. It is almost impossible not to see any seals in Kaikoura and if you are lucky, it could also an ideal spot for whale watching. Kaikoura also holds opportunities for many beautiful hikes and this video follows our journey from the peninsula walk on Kaikoura seashore to the very top of Mount Fyffe - a real hidden gem just kilometers away from the small marine town.
