Aarthi Ananthanarayanan is passionate about the role plastics play in our climate crisis. More specifically, helping the world reduce plastic use and dispelling Big Oil’s myth that plastics are essential.
In this stirring talk, Aarthi posits that plastic is oil. With the reduction in use by the automotive industry and others, Big Oil has pivoted to plastic production in recent years and that is only projected to grow if we let it.
