Andhra Pradesh Industries and IT Minister Mekapati Gautam Reddy has died of a heart attack today at 9:25 am in Hyderabad at the age of 49. Gautam Reddy, a two-time MLA from Atmakuru constituency in the Nellore district, won in 2014 and 2019. He is currently the Minister for Industries, Commerce, IT and Skill Development in the YCP government.

The death of Gautam Reddy, an important leader in Nellore politics, has plunged family members, activists and fans into deep grief. Gautam, who arrived at his residence in Hyderabad a week after his visit to Dubai, also made an appointment on Tuesday to meet CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
