‘Residuum’ is an introspective, atmospheric meditation for solo piano. It is inspired by the rich harmonic language of one of my absolute favorite piano pieces: Brahms’ ‘Ballade in B major’ — which I again fell in love with shortly before writing this piece. Residuum combines that with a minimalistic, melancholic ambiance. Hope you like it!

This track is part of my most ambitious release to date, my new album 'Fragmente': 17 tracks and more than 50 minutes of music; Recorded with lots of great musicians from Berlin and beyond. Stay tuned for many more releases in the coming months!
