From Yard Tree to Furniture: Spalted Maple Trestle Table II This is the second video of this project. We go to pick up the salvaged book matched spalted maple slabs that were saved from a yard in Tipp City, Ohio. I cut the slabs and glue them up. I make dovetail housing joints and show how to attach the table top to the base while allowing for wood movement. We finish the spalted maple with an equal parts boiled linseed oil, turpentine and spar urethane. Design Inspired by Ishitani Furniture
