This is the 2017 MG GS SUV and it is the first of such cars from the brand. Sporting a modern design inside and out, the GS looks the part. Powered by a 164bhp 1.5 litre turbocharged engine, our test car was fitted with a 7 speed dual clutch automatic gearbox. MG claim 45.5 MPG combined.
The interior offers plenty of space for occupants as well as a respectable boot. However, material qualities are not as good as rivals. A touchscreen infotainment display is a marked improvement over units found in previous models.
