I don't like talking about politics and this is not what I do on this channel, but I can't just sit with my mouth shut.
I seriously never believed that a war could break out in 21st century and I've never been so devastated in my entire life. I don't want to sleep, I don't want to eat, I can't go out to hang out with my friends knowing that my brothers and sisters, people who I love and care about are dying every single day right across the Black Sea (I live in Istanbul right now). Knowing that the country that I love the most is being tortured and bombarded.
I'm not an emotional person, but I'll admit, my eyes have been tearing up quite a bit over the past eleven days. I'm extremely proud of my country and its brave people. I'm thankful to the entire world for stepping up against the fascism of Russian government, and of course, I'm tremendously thankful to the soldiers of Ukrainian Army that are doing their best to defend Ukraine.
The war might not be over yet, but I believe that the victory is on our side and I hope all of this ends as soon as possible. Sending my sincere condolences to those who lost a loved one. My heart goes out to you.
