Inventions at a glance:

1. Momentum Conserver. Level 1 in the career. It does nothing but look pretty.

2. SimRay. Level 2 in the career, with upgrades as you climb the corporate ladder. Starts off with the ability to freeze sims and put out fires. Can be upgraded to be able to transform objects, as well as provide mind control abilities to force sims to perform various tasks (e.g. clean, panic). At level 10 it can be upgraded further, allowing it to transform a sim, changing their hair colour and skin tone.

3. Hover Lamp. Level 3 in the career. It's a light.

4. Satellite Dish. Level 4 in the career. Can prevent our encourage alien abductions, as well as start neighbourhood hiveminds, which places an effect on the neighbourhood from knocking them out, making them happy or creating a bladder epidemic. It can later be upgraded to allow you to detect local aliens, and provide an additional alien channel for televisions on your lot.

5. Cloning Machine. Level 5 in the career. Will allow you to clone a range of objects, including serums and collectibles. Cab be later upgraded at level 9 in the career to allow one to clone a sim. Unfortunately skills and relationships are not carried over.

6. Electroflux Wormhole Generator. Level 6 in the career. You can use this to test environments and contact aliens. At level 10 it can be upgraded to allow transport to the alien homeworld of Sixam.
