This video is the culmination of a project I've been working on for a number of years to try to record the calls of every native British Warbler (they can be migrants or residents but must breed here, so it does not include passage migrants such as the Aquatic Warbler or the rare vagrants). The birds featured are the Blackcap, Cetti's Warbler, Chiffchaff, Common Whitethroat, Dartford Warbler, Garden Warbler, Grasshopper Warbler, Lesser Whitethroat, Reed Warbler, Savi's Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Willow Warbler and Wood Warbler. To qualify the title slightly this collection does not include the rare Marsh Warbler, which has a breeding population in the UK of between two and eight pairs, restricted to sites on the East Coast but these are unlikely to be encountered by the majority of birders.
