This week’s live episode discusses the San Jose Sharks trading Timo Meier to the New Jersey Devils. The Sharks also traded defenseman Scott Harrington, forward Timur Ibragimov, defenseman Santeri Hatakka, and goaltender Zach Emond. They acquired a 2023 first-round selection, a conditional 2024 first-round selection, defenseman Shakir Mukhamadullin, forward Fabian Zetterlund, defenseman Nikita Okhotiuk, and forward Andreas Johnsson. San Jose will retain 50% of Meier’s remaining contract through the 2022-23 season. San Jose receives New Jersey’s seventh-round selection in the 2024 NHL Draft.
