Prime Minister Anthony Albanese describes the new Western Sydney Airport as a “transformational infrastructure project” which will see an increase of jobs and economic activity in the area.
The Prime Minister’s comments come after the project recently reached a halfway point in its construction.
“Hitting the halfway mark on construction is more than just something to mark on a calendar,” he told a media conference on Thursday.
“It allows us to point to the benefits that this project is already bringing.”
