Former rebel leader Gustavo Petro has a chance to become Colombia's first leftist president after winning the first round of the election.
He has 40 percent of the votes with the right-wing populist Rodolfo Hernandez coming a surprise second at 30 percent. They'll be in the run-off next month. Manuel Rueda has more from Bogota.
