The sounds of Common Cranes calling from a wetland in Sweden. The loud, trumpeting call of the Common Crane can be heard in wetlands across parts of Europe and Asia, especially in locations where there is less disturbance by human activity. Common Cranes often call in duet with the male giving a higher-pitched trumpet call followed by the female's lower pitcher 'kraw' or rolling 'ka-ka-ka' sounds.
This sample was recorded in the Black River Valley, Sweden and features typical calls of the Common Crane (Grus grus). This species is also know as the Eurasian Crane. More examples of wildlife sounds and bird calls can be found on my website [ Ссылка ]
