A great time to visit Venice to avoid the crowds - sort of! The crowds are less, but it is still a very popular destination for many as you'll see from this video.
We walked a lot, but also used the Vaporetto's as well as trying a Gondola ride. We also went to the island of Murano to experience glass blowing.
We always try to have our itinerary fully planned before venturing anywhere. Thus we had booked the walking tours, the shuttle from the airport, the Doges Palace Secret Itinerary and the queue jump to see Basilica di San Marco when the lights were on inside.
A very enjoyable adventure despite the mixed weather. We're from North East England, so the weather was great!
