Takes 7 minutes to heat up we recommend that you use distilled water to prolong the life of your steam cleaner but you can use tap water.
Maximum Temperature is 275 degrees F

Steam will disinfect and kill 99% of bacteria, viruses, and more with at least 3 minutes of sustained contact at a temperature between 175 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. So on high touch surfaces that won't be damaged by this, you can use a steam cleaner to disinfect. However, we mostly use it to deep clean.

Where can the Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner be used?
Dupray Neat Steam Cleaner can be used for
- Floor Cleaning
- Cleaning grout although I found it tedious unless you put chemical on the grout first and then steam it
- Cleaning oil and grease stains from ovens stoves and kitchen Appliances
- Stains and spot removal from upholstery, carpets and couch. Although in my opinion there are better tools and I did melt the material on my couch because I let it get too hot.
- Disinfecting toilets (esp the bottom ring where pee can dry on and be really hard to get up), sinks counters, and bathroom floors.
- Sanitize pet houses and pet beds.
- Clean kitchen chairs and surfaces.
- Detailed cleaning and deodorizing of the car interior
- Kill bugs and bacteria on mattresses.
I’ve even used mine to steam iron sheets fast.
