Today I'm bringing you homemade vegetable broth, made from kitchen veggie scraps! This stuff is cheap (basically free because you're just using bits of veggies from other things that would otherwise be thrown away), taste SO much better than the store-bought stuff, and is super easy to make. Ingredients:
- 2 cups veggie scraps
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1 dried bay leaf
- 1/4 tsp whole peppercorns
- 1 quart water
- 1/2 tsp salt *optional*
- splash of white wine or apple cider vinegar *optional*
